Marila sour cream found to deviate from established standards

YEREVAN, August 26. /ARКА/. Officials from the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia carried out an inspection at the dairy production facility Marila LLC, located in Kapan city, Syunik region.

According to the agency's report, samples of the product were collected during the inspection and forwarded for laboratory analysis.

The laboratory test results indicated that the sour cream product sample (produced on 08/14/2025) fails to comply with the EAEU technical regulations with regard to the E. coli indicator.

Production of this product has been halted until the noted violations are rectified. An order has been issued to prohibit the sale of the affected batches, mandate their recall from the market, and ensure their destruction or disposal, as well as to bring the products into compliance with the required standards.-0-
