McDonald's in France will switch to reusable tableware
YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. To comply with local laws mandating that restaurants with more than 20 seats must offer reusable and washable serving containers, McDonald's France has worked with Elium Studio for the past two years to develop a range of reusable tableware to be used at its fast food restaurants.
While matching the aesthetic of its signature packaging, the containers must also be highly durable and complimentary to the tasting experience, designscene.net reported.
It says silhouettes introduced include everything from plastic cups for hot and cold drinks to French fry containers and condiment holders. The material chosen for the range is Tritan, a BPA-free plastic resin that helps preserves the taste and smell of the food without the material being affected over time. -0-
