More than 1 billion in unpaid taxes: Alex Textile director, employees and IT company owner charged with tax evasion

YEREVAN, April 3. /ARKA/. The director of Alex Textile LLC has been charged with tax evasion to the tune of more than 1.1 billion drams, Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported today.
It said charges have also been brought against the employees and the owner of an IT company who assisted Alex Textile to avoid taxes.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, during the preliminary investigation into the criminal case initiated against Nor Zovk chain of supermarkets, it obtained evidence that in order to hide income and control the real turnover of goods the director of Alex Textile involved the owner of the ACTRADE-SOFT company who for a fee substituted the real data in the software.
