Mutual trade among EEU members recovering at fast pace

YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. The trade among members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is recovering at a fast pace. In January-November 2021, the volume of mutual trade amounted to $65.5 billion, which is 32.4% more compared to the same period in 2020 and 17.8% higher than in January--November 2019, the Eurasian Economic Commission reported.
The growth of exports in mutual trade was recorded in all states of the EEU: in Kazakhstan - by 35.3%, in Russia - by 35.2%, in Kyrgyzstan - by 30.4%, in Armenia - by 27.4% and in Belarus - by 24.8%.
Active trade in food products and agricultural raw materials continues. In January-November 2021, compared to January-November 2020, shipments to the Union market from Armenia increased by 29.5%, from Russia by 27.3%, and from Kyrgyzstan by 17.3%. -0-
