Natural gas supply to all CNG fuelling stations restored

YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Natural gas supply to all compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations in Armenia has been restored as of Monday morning, Gazprom-Armenia company told ARKA news agency.

Natural gas supply to some CNG stations was halted on February 18 because of the considerable reduction of daily volume of natural gas imports from Russia to Armenia.

Gazprom Armenia, the country's Russian-owned natural gas distributing company, said the halt was prompted by a partial blockage of the transit main that supplies gas to Georgia and Armenia, which occurred in Russia's Stavropol Territory on February 14.

Gazprom-Armenia, a 100% subsidiary of Russian Gazprom holding, is the monopoly supplier of natural gas from Russia to the Armenian domestic market. It deals with transportation, storage, distribution and sales of gas, as well as reconstruction and expansion of gas transportation system and underground gas storage capacities. --0--
