Net profit of Ameriabank grows by 5% to 3bln drams in six months

Net profit of Ameriabank rose by 5% to 3 billion drams as of the end of the first half of 2015, compared to the same period of the year before, the bank’s press office reported.
YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. Net profit of Ameriabank rose by 5% to 3 billion drams as of the end of the first half of 2015, compared to the same period of the year before, the bank’s press office reported.
Net operational income reached 10.4 billion drams in January-June 2015, an increase of 23.8% against the same period of 2014. Fees and commission income grew by 12%.
Ameriabank’s performance results for the first half of the year show that the bank still has leading positions in the Armenian banking system in terms of a number of financial indicators, assets, liabilities and loan investments in particular, says the report.
The bank’s assets hiked by 16% to 398.8 billion drams as of the end of the first half of 2015; liabilities grew by 17% to 353.5 billion drams. The bank’s loan investments rose by 34% to 257 billion drams, and time deposits from individuals were up to 94 billion drams by the end of the reporting period that is a 25% increase.
In order to provide more convenience to its clients the bank keeps expanding its use of remote systems, such as Ameria Online Banking, Ameria Mobile Banking, Ameria Telephone Banking, Ameria Global Trading, as well as of cash deposit ATMs, says the report.
The banks clients have the opportunity of getting connected to Ameria Telephone Banking for free by September 30.
Apart from this, Ameriabank has developed prompt and user-friendly solutions for clients to make their payments against public services through a diversity of systems. In particular, public utilities bills can be paid through Ameria Online Banking, Ameria Mobile Banking, Ameria Telephone Banking, through ATMs and payment orders.
