Nordavia-Regional Airlines to operate three weekly flights from St. Petersburg to Yerevan

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency /Rosaviatsia/ has allowed Nordavia-Regional Airlines to operate regular flights from St. Petersburg to Yerevan and back.

YEREVAN, January 15. /ARKA/ Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency /Rosaviatsia/ has allowed Nordavia-Regional Airlines to operate regular flights from St. Petersburg to Yerevan and back.
According to a statement, posted on the official website of the company, Nordavia-Regional Airlines will operate three flights a week to the Armenian capital.
Nordavia - Regional Airlines operates scheduled and charter flights to more than 30 Russian and foreign airports. The airline's fleet has 9 Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
In 2009, the airline was awarded IOSA certificate of quality and safety of services. Since 2011 it has been a member of IATA.
Acting on a recommendation by McKinsey & Company and the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia the Armenian government liberalized in 2013 October the domestic civil aviation sector saying that all local and foreign airlines meeting safety standards will be allowed to fly to and from Armenia without special authorizations or other restrictions. -0-
