YEREVAN, June 12, /ARKA/ Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today that the number of cash register receipts provided in May, 2019, rose by 13,182,667 from the same month in 2018. ‘This means that we began to exceed not only pre-revolutionary, but also revolutionary indicators," he wrote on his Facebook page.

The prime minister thanked all those entrepreneurs who conscientiously print cash register receipts, as well as all those citizens who demand them.

"I want to emphasize that it is thanks to these people that the government has the opportunity to raise the salaries of the military," said Pashinyan.

In order to reduce the "shadow", the head of government has repeatedly called on the residents of Armenia to demand cash register receipts when making purchases.

Earlier, speaking in the National Assembly, Pashinyan stated that in January-February 2019, 12.5 million more cash register receipts had been provided than in the same period of 2018, while the trade turnover grew by 30 billion drams. -0-
