YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Armenia EXPO-2014 and similar events contribute to development of Armenia’s economy, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said Friday in Yerevan at the opening of the three-day universal regional trade and industry exhibition forum.

“Such events strengthen business ties,” he said. “They are also the best platform for presenting Armenia at an international economic market.”

The exhibition forum is being held in a specialized exhibition facility Yerevan Expo in the territory of the Mergelyan Institute of Mathematical Machines. The event is organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia and LOGOS EXPO Center.

The premier also stressed the importance of such events in the competition environment formation.
In his opinion, Armenia EXPO-2014 filled its own unique niche in the row of the international exhibitions ensuring a high level to cooperation between concerned parties.

Abrahamyan told journalists that this is his first visit to the exhibition, which impressed him a great deal.
Arsen Ghazaryan, on his side, said that the exhibition is also interesting for its participants – every year new companies and new regional partners from Russia, Georgia, Iran, Poland and Turkey take part in the event.

Food- and water-producing companies, as well as cosmetics, construction materials manufacturers, jewelers, producers of heating systems and book publishers exposed their products here this year.  --0---
