Privatization of 24 state-owned facilities expected to raise 36 billion drams

The Armenian government has put up for privatization 24 state-owned facilities, which are expected to raise 35-36 billion drams (about $74 million), Arman Sahakyan, the head of the State Property Management Department, said at a government meeting on Thursday.

YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has put up for privatization 24 state-owned facilities, which are expected to raise 35-36 billion drams (about $74 million), Arman Sahakyan, the head of the State Property Management Department, said at a government meeting on Thursday.
He said all these facilities are included in the government’s privatization program for 2017-2020.
The list of facilities include the government’s House of Receptions, a bus terminal in Kotayk region, the government-owned shares in the Yerevan Jewelry Factory, the Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Physiotherapy, the National Center for Oncology, the Scientific Center for Dermatovenerologic Medicine, the Center for the Production of Radioisotopes and a number of smaller facilities, as well as the National Postal Operator Haypost and the Armenfilm studio. -0-
