YEREVAN, June 16. /ARKA/. Armenia's Food Safety Inspectorate has lifted the ban on the operation of Getamech 2016 poultry farm, the regulator's press service reported.

It said after conducting a second inspection at the poultry farm the employees of its Kotayk regional center found that the violations discovered earlier were eliminated.

A laboratory examination of the samples of poultry meat taken repeatedly showed no inconsistencies with requirements.

The poultry farm was ordered to suspend operation on June 8 after a lab examination found salmonella in samples of frozen chicken meat. A number of violations were detected as well.-0-
