YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. The Armenian government’s food safety agency is now conducting a monitoring in the soft fizzy drinks market to identify risks here, the press office of the agency reported on Thursday.

The monitoring was prompted by alarm calls from consumers and nongovernmental organizations.

The agency says in its news release that the monitoring has already produced first results.

Faults were found in products of 15 economic entities. There were breaches of hygienic and marking requirements as well as improper organization of production process and paperwork.

The agency ordered to remove batches of shoddy products from sale and destroy them.

Appropriate instructions were given to economic entities to put things right.
