Regulator orders Yerevan bakery to stop operation

Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has ordered a bakery in the capital Yerevan to stop operation because of a number of violations revealed during an inspection.
YEREVAN, January 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has ordered a bakery in the capital Yerevan to stop operation because of a number of violations revealed during an inspection.
The bakery located at 2/7 Lusinyants Street and owned by a private entrepreneur Emma Simonyan was closed for the failure to meet food hygiene requirements, the agency said in a press release.
It said it also found that one of the products - the packaged flat bread lavash - did not have conformity declaration. The bakery was given some time to eliminate the violations. -0-
