YEREVAN, September 15. /ARKA/. Officials from Armenia's Food Safety Inspectorate carried out inspections and collected samples for laboratory analysis at the meat production facility of the Meat Food company in Yerevan.

The findings of the analysis revealed that the sample of "Tender Sausages" from the "Moya Semya" brand (produced on June 30, 2025, with a shelf life of 25 days) fails to comply with the technical regulations of the Customs Union regarding "sodium nitrite calculated as NaN02." Consequently, the product is deemed hazardous.

By the regulator's decision,

The specific production activities of the meat products workshop—namely, the production of "Tender Sausages"—have been suspended;

It has been mandated that this type of product must be brought into alignment with the standards established in legal regulations;

The business entity has received an order to cease sales, recall the product from the market, and either destroy or dispose of this batch;

A timeline has been established for rectifying the violations.-0-
