YEREVAN, February 15. /ARKA/. Russian flagship air carrier Aeroflot has resumed regular air communication with Armenia on a reciprocal basis since February 15, TASS reported. Flights to Armenia will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (return flights - on Mondays, Sundays and two flights on Thursdays).

Russians are allowed to enter Armenia for business, personal and tourism purposes. To enter, a PCR test for COVID-19 is required, done no more than 72 hours before crossing the border. A certificate with a negative result can be provided in Russian, English or Armenian.

Russia suspended regular flights to other countries in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The gradual restoration of air traffic began in the summer of 2020.

At the moment, Russia has resumed direct regular flights to 24 countries, including Turkey, Belarus, Greece, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Air traffic with the UK was again suspended from December 22 until February 16, 2021. -- 0--
