Russian first deputy prime minister due in Yerevan to discuss economy and trade

First deputy prime minister of Russia, Viktor Zubkov, is due in Armenia on February 6 for a two-day visit at the invitation of Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan.

YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. First deputy prime minister of Russia, Viktor Zubkov, is due in Armenia on February 6 for a two-day visit at the invitation of Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan. In Yerevan Zubkov will discuss economic cooperation, Russian RIA Novosti news agency reports today.
"The focus of the upcoming negotiations will be on further expansion of the Russian-Armenian trade and investment cooperation," it said, citing the office of Zubkov. In Yerevan Zubkov is scheduled to meet with Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan. On Tuesday he willo hold talks with Tigran Sargsyan. During his visit Zubkov will also attend a meeting of co-chairs of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
The two sides are expected to sign the concept of long-term economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia until 2020.
Viktor Zubkov's visit opens a series of Russian-Armenian talks. Russian Security Council Secretary is due in Yerevan later this week.-0-
