YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. Armenian airline Shirak Avia will launch flights between Yerevan and Sochi, a southern Russian city on the Black Sea coast with a strong Armenian community. The maiden flight is scheduled for June 25.

The press service of Sochi International Airport said on Monday that the airline will operate one flight a week on Sundays by Boeing 738-500 aircraft. The flight between Sochi and Yerevan will take an hour.

The Sochi airport told Russian news agency Tass that Shirak Avia airline is the second Armenian air carrier operating flights between the two cities. The other airline is Armenian Airlines.

This is the first cooperation between Sochi airport and Shirak Avia -0-
