Shirak Avia to launch flights between Yerevan and Russian Stavropol
YEREVAN October 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Shirak Avia airline will launch direct regular flights between Yerevan and the southern Russian city of Stavropol starting December 11, 2022, according to the Stavropol airport's telegraph channel.
The flights will be operated once a week on Sundays by Boeing 737 aircraft. The flight 5G 160 will depart the Armenian capital at 11:45 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Stavropol at 11:50 a.m (local time). The return flight 5G 161 will depart Stavropol at 12:40 and arrive in Yerevan at 14:50.
Shirak Avia LLC was registered in Armenia in 2019. In January 2021, Armenia’s Civil Aviation Committee granted it operator’s certificate, and in October 2021, it received a certificate for regular commercial air transportation. The airline performs flights from Zvartnots airport in Yerevan and Shirak airports in Gyumri to various cities in Russia. -0-
