Some 15,572 real estate transactions effected in Armenia in 2019 September, by 36.1% more than in September 2018

A total of 15,572 real estate transactions were effected in Armenia in 2019 September, by 36.1% more than in the same month of 2018, the State Real Estate Cadastre Committee said.

YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. A total of 15,572 real estate transactions were effected in Armenia in 2019 September, by 36.1% more than in the same month of 2018, the State Real Estate Cadastre Committee said.

It said the bulk of the transactions -36% - were effected in the capital city Yerevan and the smallest portion- 1.4%- in the southern province of Vayots Dzor. Also, Kotayk province accounted for 14.1% of all transactions, Ararat province for 9.4%, Armavir for 7.4%, Lori for 7.1%, Aragatsotn for 6%, Gegharkunik for 5.1%, Shirak for 4.9%, Tavush for 4.3%, and Syunik for 4.2%.

According to the State Cadastre, 3.48% of all effected real estate transactions were sale and purchase deals, 17% were  primary registration of new built homes, also 14.3% were inheritance deals, 15.9% were collateral transactions, 6.3% were rental transactions and  8.1% were other type of real estate transactions.

Also, the average market value of one square meter of housing in apartment buildings in Yerevan in September 2019 grew by 10.8% from September 2018.  Compared with August 2019, the average market value of 1 sq. meter of housing increased by 1.2%.  

The highest prices were in Kentron administrative district in Yerevan - 612,000 drams per square meter of housing and the lowest was in Nubarashen district- 178,000 drams. The average cost per square meter of housing in apartment buildings in the regions increased by 1.9% compared to September 2018. 

The highest price per square meter of housing was  in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor (279,000 drams), while the lowest was  in Dastakert, in Synuk (21,400) drams). ($1 - 476.57 drams). -0-
