YEREVAN, March 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan ordered today to set up a working schedule for the Customs Service and other agencies during the upcoming non-working days from March 8 to March 11.
The prime minister instructed the chairman of State Revenue Committee, the head of State Food Security Service and proposed to the Central Bank chairman to ensure the continuity and uninterrupted supply of customs services to businesses in the period from March 8 to March 11 at all customs offices, at the relevant departments of the State Food Security Service and set up a duty according to a pre-arranged timetable, as well as provide the opportunity to make payments through bank subsidiaries operating at customs checkpoints.
"Studies show that four non-working days create difficulties, especially for entrepreneurs," he explained.
Earlier the government decided that citizens of Armenia will have four days off on the occasion of the International Women's Day - from 8th to 11th March. Instead of March 9 (Friday) Armenian citizens will work on March 17 (Saturday). -0-
