SRC extends submission period for assistance applications

YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee said the submission period of applications for the 23rd government-designed program to offset the socio-economic consequences of the coronavirus crisis is extended until August 31, 2021.

The 23rd program was designed for companies engaged in such activities as tourism and organization of vacations, catering, travel agencies and operators.

The SRC said those taxpayers who were notified that they were included in the list of beneficiaries of the program and want to make use of the assistance program should send an application for a one-time payment before the deadline.

Those beneficiaries who have already submitted an application that did not meet the specified requirements must submit a revised application by 31 August.

As part of the program the government will subsidize the wages of every third or every fourth employee. Greater support will be given to organizations that, despite the drop in income, have retained at least 70% of their jobs. ($1 - 491.29 drams) .- 0-
