Tashir Group purchases Sevan-Hrazadan Cascade Hydro Power Plant from RusHydro at 173 million Russian rubles

Tashir Group signed Friday a contract to purchase from Russia's RusHydro a package of shares of the International Energy Company, which is the owner of the Sevan-Hrazadan Cascade Hydro Power Plant, according to the website of Tashir Group of Companies.

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Tashir Group signed Friday a contract to purchase from Russia's RusHydro a package of shares of the International Energy Company, which is the owner of the Sevan-Hrazadan Cascade Hydro Power Plant, according to the website of Tashir Group of Companies.
Tashir Group bought 527 085 shares for 172.96 million Russian rubles. The Armenian Public Services Commission gave its consent for the deal.
Tashir Group is owned by Samvel Karapetyan, a Russian entrepreneur of Armenian descent.
The Sevan-Hrazdan Cascade (561 MWt), consists of seven derivative hydro power plants. Their output shrank 11.5% in 2018 to 412 million kWh. This is about 5.68 percent of Armenia's electric energy output in 2018. -0---
