Tavush Textiles awarded 3-year VAT payment deferment

Tavush Textiles company has been awarded today a three -year deferment of VAT payment by the Armenian government after promising to invest 2.1 billion Armenian drams into a plant producing work gloves, deputy economy minister Sergey Avetisyan said at a Cabinet session today.

Tavush Textiles company has been awarded today a three -year deferment of VAT payment by the Armenian government after promising to invest 2.1 billion Armenian drams into a plant producing work gloves, deputy economy minister Sergey Avetisyan said at a Cabinet session today.
Avetisyan said the company plans to import equipment worth 0.8 billion drams to establish production of work gloves in the village of Choratan and export the entire output.
The deferment was earlier awarded to companies which imported more than 300 million drams worth modern equipment or technology to expand their output and modernize production facilities. In 2014 April the government lowered the ceiling to 200 million drams. . ($1 – 473.83 drams). -0--
