Tax preferences to be given to producers of fruit spirits - Armenian economy minister

YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Tax preferences will be given to producers of fruit spirits, Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan said Thursday at a regular cabinet meeting. At its regular meeting the government decided to gauge the natural losses sustained during production of grape, honey, fruit and berry distillates and vodka and deduct them from the gross income.  

"There are some regulations lessening natural losses in production of spirits, but they didn't apply to fruit spirits, since their production was not so widespread," Khachatryan said. In his words, production of fruit spirits has grown in the country recently and this makes this change necessary. -0---
