YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Following discussions, the ruling Civil Contract party's board has decided to nominate Martin Galstyan for the position of Chairman of the Central Bank, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.

Martin Galstyan was elected Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia by secret ballot in the National Assembly on April 17, 2020, replacing Artur Javadyan. The term of office for the Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia is six years.-0-
