YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. The UR airline has canceled the Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan) - Yerevan - Erbil flight, scheduled for January 12, the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia reported. It said the flight was canceled at the initiative of the airline.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Committee said that the Yerevan-Tehran-Yerevan flight, scheduled for January 10 by Armenia Airways will take place in accordance with the schedule.

"We urge people to refrain from spreading misinformation and follow official announcements. We continue to monitor the further development of events in the Middle East region," it said in a statement.

On January 8, the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia decided against suspending flights from Yerevan over the airspace of Iraq, Iran, the Persian and Oman gulfs following the crash of the Ukrainian Boeing-737 in Tehran.-0-
