“Hear Carrefoure wants to open in Yerevan. I used to shop there in Brussels. Would be good for competition here. Hope it happens,” he tweeted.
Zhamanak newspaper (Time) reported the other day referring to its own sources that Samvel Karapetyan, who owns «Dalma Garden Mall» in Yerevan, suspended the agreement with Carrefoure as Samvel Karapetyan, who imports the essentials to Armenia, took pretty active steps to impede the entrance of the hypermarket in the republic which could sink his own business.
In the framework of the agreement, Carrefoure should have entered Armenia last November.
