YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Russian Utair airline will start operating flights to the Armenian capital Yerevan from the Siberian town of Surgut from June 4, TASS news agency reported today citing the carrier's press service.

"Utair is increasing its presence in the CIS countries: in June we will launch flights to Kyrgyzstan for the first time, as well as to Armenia from Surgut. Direct flights to these countries are important for Surgut citizens. In the future we plan to increase the number of flights," Oleg Semenov, the president of Utair - Passenger Airlines was quoted by TASS as saying.

Utair said the flights from Surgut to Yerevan and Bishkek will be carried out on Saturdays. Earlier the air company resumed the flights from another Siberian town of Tyumen to Yerevan. Also Utair operates daily flights to the capital of Armenia from Russian Sochi and Moscow.

Utair is the fourth largest airline in Russia after Aeroflot, S7 and Ural Airlines. --0--
