VTB Bank (Armenia) said today it has launched a new remote service designed for recipients of money transfers.
YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) said today it has launched a new remote service designed for recipients of money transfers.
According to a bank's press release, the recipients of funds will not have to visit a bank and will not even have to contact its Contact Center. They need only to fill out an online application on the bank’s official website.
After filling out a short application form, customers can receive money transfers to their MasterCard / Visa cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) sent via Unistream, MoneyGram, Converstransfers, Intelexpress, TelCell and BEST systems.
According to the bank, receiving a money transfer will take a few minutes. To fill out an application for payment of a money transfer, customers need to visit the bank’s official website at www.vtb.am and fill out the following information: surname / name of the recipient, money transfer code, the amount and the currency of the transfer (also the preferred currency), card and mobile phone numbers.
From 09: 00-19: 30 on Mondays to Fridays, and from 10: 00-17: 00 on Saturdays, the money transfer will be credited to the client’s card within 20 minutes. In other cases the application will be processed on the next business day. The recipient will receive an SMS message with notification that the amount has been credited to the card.
After the money transfer is credited to the recipient's card, the latter can receive the amount without commissions / free of charge through 190 ATMs of VTB Bank (Armenia) in AMD or in the Bank's branches, if the amount is to be received in foreign currency.
The bank said that the holders of its VTB-Transfer cards, which are designed specifically for customers who often receive money transfers from abroad, can take advantage of the following benefits: preferential conversion rate at the time the transfer is credited to the card, the possibility of obtaining a credit line of up to 1 million drams based on the history of receiving money transfers.
The monthly fee for servicing a VTB-Transfer card is only 60 drams if the client receives at least 1 money transfer per card per month. Detailed information about this service is available at branches of VTB Bank (Armenia), on its official website www.vtb.am and by calling 87-87. The Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
