VTB Bank (Armenia) unveils special offer for holders of MasterCard cards

VTB Bank (Armenia) has announced today a special offer it has designed for its customers who can get MasterCard Gold banking cards at the prices of MasterCard Standard cards.
YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) has announced today a special offer it has designed for its customers who can get MasterCard Gold banking cards at the prices of MasterCard Standard cards. The bank said the offer is valid until October 30, 2019.
In a news release the bank said the special offer will allow both potential and current cardholders (in case of reissuing a card) to receive MasterCard Gold cards with an annual service fee of 5,900 drams, down from 25,000 drams or with a monthly service price of 590 drams instead of 2,500 drams.
According to the bank, the MasterCard banking cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) work not only on chip carriers, but also use contactless technology, which, unlike magnetic tape cards, provides the highest level of security, protecting cardholder information from unauthorized use.
Besides, it is very simple to use contactless cards for making payments for purchases, as POS MasterCard contactless payment terminals or paypass technologies are available all over the world. Moreover, when paying for purchases worth up to AMD 10,000 (equivalent in foreign currency) with a contactless MasterCard card, the customer does not need to enter the PIN code. As a result, the payment with a contactless MasterCard takes few seconds.
MasterCard bank cards are multicurrency, enabling their holders to have accounts in Armenian drams, US dollars, euros and Russian rubles. They can be used in more than 1 million ATMs and make cashless payments in more than 32 million retail and service outlets around the world.
