YEREVAN, July 16. /ARKA/. A new digital platform called Work without Borders launched across the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) on July1 is a good tool both for those who look for jobs and those who want to hire workers, Anahit Parzyan, executive director of the Nork center for social services and technologies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, said at a press conference on Friday.

She said the platform has a number of advantages. One is that anyone can visit the platform and create a personal page, showcase their professional skills and find the most suitable job.

“This is a good opportunity in the context of digital development. The platform is free, which is very important for employers and people who are looking for work," Parzyan said.

She said to register on the platform, Armenian citizens need to apply to the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Social Affairs and register in the Gorts (Work) information system.

After that, citizens or employers are identified and can register in the electronic system Work for All and open their own page.

"The platform is designed for the EEU member countries. Its filters allow, among other things, to establish a job search in Armenia, in particular, to working hours, salaries, remote work opportunities, as well as employment opportunities for persons with disabilities," Parzyan said.

According to her, an important component of the platform is the identification of both individuals and legal entities in order to exclude possible problem situations.

She said about 100 thousand people are registered now in the Gorts system. On the whole, the Work Without Borders system already contains 4 million data about job seekers and 500 thousand job offers.

The Work Without Borders system will allow employers and job seekers to gain access to national databases of vacancies of all member states. At the same time, the personal data of citizens is fully protected, as it is not transmitted through the Work Without Borders system.

It is expected that at least half a million people will use the search engine within a year. The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will regularly monitor the functioning and development of the platform, according to Parzyan.-0-
