The Kapan International Music Festival, held for the third consecutive year, brought together more than 30 world-renowned musicians in Armenia, who participated in multi-genre concerts at the Kapan Organ Hall, according to the press service of Ameriabank.

YEREVAN, July 18. /ARKA/. The Kapan International Music Festival, held for the third consecutive year, brought together more than 30 world-renowned musicians in Armenia, who participated in multi-genre concerts at the Kapan Organ Hall, according to the press service of Ameriabank.
As every year, musical instruments were donated to Kapan music schools as part of the festival. In addition, more than 50 young musicians had the opportunity to participate in master classes with famous musicians and perform with them.
Ameriabank, attaching importance to the continuous development and progress of the regions, guided by its mission to improve the quality of life and remaining faithful to the principles of corporate social responsibility, also joined this musical celebration, which took place on July 4-15 in Kapan (Syunik Province).
Both Armenian and foreign musicians visited Armenia as part of the festival. Among the most anticipated guests of the event was one of the world's most famous and sought-after violinists, Vadim Repin. He performed a concert as part of the festival, providing an exclusive musical evening together with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra.
Repin has collaborated with such world-renowned conductors as Ashkenazy, Dutoit, Gergiev, Nagano, Levin, Temirkanov, and has performed on stage with Martha Argerich, Mischa Maisky, Cecilia Bartoli, Gautier Capuçon, Riccardo Muti, and others.
Vadim Repin, who plays a Rode violin made by Stradivarius in 1722, has been awarded France's highest honor, the Order of Arts and Letters. He is also the artistic director of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, which he founded in 2014.
