The French-owned Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC) said it will hold Open House Day on 15-16 December giving all visitors an opportunity to take a tour of the facility and see how famous Armenian brandies of ARARAT brand are made.

YEREVAN, December 14. / ARKA /. The French-owned Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC) said it will hold Open House Day on 15-16 December giving all visitors an opportunity to take a tour of the facility and see how famous Armenian brandies of ARARAT brand are made.

The visitors will be shown also some of the company’s collection of oldest brandies.

Particularly, the visitors will see a unique example of Armenian brandy, dated 1894 year, which is provided by Yerevan History Museum specifically for the event.

Visitors will be taken to the plant from 10:00 to 17:00 by free shuttle buses that will run every hour from the Republic Square in downtown Yerevan.

YBC was founded in 1887. In June 1998 it was acquired by French Pernod Ricard at $30 million. -0-
