Yerevan to host "Eyes Wide Open" marketing conference

On the initiative of the Armenian Marketing Association and with support from ESOMAR, the biggest in the region marketing event "EYES WIDE OPEN" conference with participation of Gullap International will be held in Yerevan on May 20 to 23.

YEREVAN, March 16. /ARKA/. On the initiative of the Armenian Marketing Association and with support from ESOMAR, the biggest in the region marketing event "EYES WIDE OPEN" conference with participation of Gullap International will be held in Yerevan on May 20 to 23. 

Along with the conference, the association’s 71st annual forum presided by its head Kancho Stoychev will be held. 

Aram Navasardyan, chairman of the Armenian Marketing Association, representative of Armenia in ESOMAR and director of Armenian office of Gullap International, said Friday at a news conference that prominent world experts, top speakers and representatives of flagship companies will take part in the event. 

“The event will provide a chance to local companies to lay groundwork for regional cooperation and to get familiar with latest trends in marketing,” he said. 

Specialists from 30 countries will attend the conference. 

Navasardyan pointed out the conference’s four focuses – marketing and sociological studies, marketing education, design branding and advertisement and digital marketing. 

Araz Baggdasaryan, chief of the Yerevan municipality’s division in charge of advertisement design, said on his side that such events spur development of marketing industry in Armenia and integration in the world market. 

”We are ready to support every event able to development of different areas in the country,” he said. 

He said that this event to be held in Yerevan when the city will mark its 2800 anniversary and visits of prominent specialists will contribute to dissemination of information about the city in many countries. 
”We should do everything to present Yerevan properly and to make the city well-loved by the guests of the event,” he said. --0----
