The RA Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated the deadline for applying for the position of executive director of Luys Fund is prolonged to December 8 as there are many interested in the vacancy.
YEREVAN, November 27. /ARKA/. The RA Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated the deadline for applying for the position of executive director of Luys Fund is prolonged to December 8 as there are many interested in the vacancy.
Luys Foundation was founded this April under high patronage of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The Foundation is aimed at financing Armenian students to study in best higher schools abroad.
“We aspire to choose the best applicant who has an international experience, corresponding knowledge and skills and who will be able to make contacts with world leading universities,” said Premier Sargsyan at parliamentary sitting on Thursday.
He stressed 111 candidates have already applied for the position and noted the vacancy announcement can be found on the governmental website as well as on
www.careercenter.am, www.career.am and www.armeniandiaspora.com.
“We do not want the people to doubt that the competition meets all standards and is held openly and transparently.
According to Sargsyan the selection for the position will be conducted by Vigen Sargsyan, the Advisor to the RA President, Vache Gabrielyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) and Spartak Seyranyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science.
“Besides, representative of Zharangutyun (“Heritage”) Parliament faction Anahit Bakhshyan has expressed a desire for participating to the selection process,” said Sargsyan. –0—
