Salaries and hourly wage rates for all workers of CJSC South Caucasus Railways will be increased by 4.2% from May 1, the press service of the SCR reported.

YEREVAN, May 24. /ARKA/. Salaries and hourly wage rates for all workers of CJSC South Caucasus Railways will be increased by 4.2% from May 1, the press service of the SCR reported.

As the press service of the company reported on Monday, the current indexation wages are due to the fact that, according to the National Statistic Service of Armenia, the ratio of inflation and consumer prices in April compared to December 2009 amounted to 104,2%.

CJSC South-Caucasian Railway is a 100% subsidiary of Russian Railways.

CJSC Armenian Railways was transferred to the concession of the management company SCR, under the concession contract and signed on 13 of February 2008. The term of the concession is 30 years with the right of renewal for another 10 years. –0-
