On Friday, the Government of Armenia approved draft amendments to n the law “On Auditing Activity” and “On Licensing”.
YEREVAN, September 24. /ARKA/. On Friday, the Government of Armenia approved draft amendments to n the law “On Auditing Activity” and “On Licensing”.
Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan said the draft laws are designed to specify the legislative field.
Recently, the government is paying greater attention to auditing activity in the country which requires new regulative levers in the given sphere.
Draft laws envisage toughening of requirements presented to the managers of audit organizations, introduction of mandatory requirement on the creation of own Internet website where information on the given organization and its activity should be included. Currently a new department is being established within the Ministry which will control the situation in the sphere.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said it is necessary to toughen the control over auditing activity in the country. A requirement on mandatory audit in Armenia for large companies has been effected. After finalization of the procedures, the lists of the companies which failed to implement the given requirements should be publicized. --0--
