In January-August 2010 Armenia produced 226.1 million liters of milk versus 238.6 million liters (decline by 5.2%), cheese - 11787.2 tons which is by 2.5% less than the indicator in the same period of 2009.
YEREVAN, October 1. /ARKA/. In January-August 2010 Armenia produced 226.1 million liters of milk versus 238.6 million liters (decline by 5.2%), cheese - 11787.2 tons which is by 2.5% less than the indicator in the same period of 2009, Armenian National Statistic Service informs.

Kefir – 156.6 tons (decline by 7.3%), cottage-cheese – 486.2 tons (decline by 4.1%), matsoun – 1775.3 tons (increase by 7.5%), sour-cream – 1992.3 tons (increase by 9.1%), yogurt – 194.8 tons (increase by 31.4%), mayonnaise – 39.6 tons (decline by 29.4%), cream – 29 thousand liters (increase by 91.5%) and ice-cream – 3110.2 thousand liters (increase by 15.3%). –0—
