Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan visited today a renovated border check point Ayrum-Jiliza located on Armenia-Georgian border.
AYRUM, November 3, /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan visited today a renovated border check point Ayrum-Jiliza located on Armenia-Georgian border. Hovik Abovian, head of Gugark regional customs office, told journalists the renovation and technical re-equipment of the border check point funded by the government cost 125 million Drams.
He said the renovation has enabled to increase the check point’s capacity to 70 train carriages a day and 400,000 metric tons of goods. The bulk of goods going through this border check point are foods, wheat and flour.-0-
