Armenia enjoyed 10.9% year-on-year industrial growth in Jan-Sept 2010, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.
YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. Armenia enjoyed 10.9% year-on-year industrial growth in Jan-Sept 2010, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.
Armenia came second in the CIS industrial growth ranking.
The country’s industry grew 0.1% in September, compared with August.
According to the statistical report, year-on-year industrial growth in CIS countries averaged 9% in Jan-Sept 2010.
Kyrgyzstan showed 16.7% industrial growth, Ukraine 10.8%, Tajikistan 10.6%, Kazakhstan 10.4%, Belarus 10.3% and Russia 8.9%.
The slowest growth was recorded in Uzbekistan (8%), Moldova (6.3%) and Azerbaijan (3.1%). No data on Turkmenistan are available.-0-
