Foreign trade turnover of Armenia with Russia increased by 10.6% in January-October 2010 making $793.3 million
YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Foreign trade turnover of Armenia with Russia was increased by 10.6% in January-October 2010 compared with January-October 2009 making $793.3 million, Armenian national Statistic Service informs.
In January-October 2010 volume of export from Russia to Armenia was $118.7 million (14.9% of all export from Armenia) increased by 42.2% compared with the indicator of the same period of 2009.
Volume of imported goods of Russian production to Armenia was $674.7 million increased by 6.5%. In total, the volume of all import from Russia to Armenia was about $478.5 million (increase of 17.3%) or about 15.9% of total volume of import.
In January-October 2010 share of Russian Federation was about 20.9% of all foreign trade turnover of Armenia which is again the highest indicator compared with other trade-partner countries of Armenia.
The share of CIS countries from foreign trade turnover of Armenia is 28% (29.7% in the same period of the last year) or $1064.2 million (increase by 14.2%).
In January-December 2010, total volume of foreign trade turnover of Armenia was increased by 21.1% compared with the same period of the last year making about $3795.4 million. Export volume was $793.9 million and import volume - $3001.5 million. ($1 – 359.07 drams). --0—
