The South Caucasus Railways company running Armenian railroads, said today the company’s CEO has ordered to raise by 3.7% the wages and salaries of all employees of the company from December 1.
YEREVAN, December 13, /ARKA/. The South Caucasus Railways company running Armenian railroads, said today the company’s CEO has ordered to raise by 3.7% the wages and salaries of all employees of the company from December 1.
According to a press release, the rise was prompted by the growing inflation. The wages of some low- and medium-level workers have been raised by 25%, the press release said.
“It is the third rise of wages and salaries of the company this year, which is another evidence of its high-level social responsibility,’ it said.
The South Caucasus Railways is run by Russian Railways. The concessional agreement was concluded in 2008 for 30 years, with a right of extension for another 20 years after the first 20 years of operation. ($1 – 359.93 Drams). -0-
