Nagorno-Karabakh president Bako Sahakian signed Monday into law a bill on next year budget, his press office reported.
STEPANAKERT, December 28, /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh president Bako Sahakian signed Monday into law a bill on next year budget, his press office reported.
The draft law on 2011 budget, approved earlier by the Nagorno-Karabakh parliament, calls for an 8 percent increase in government expenditures projected at 64.8 billion drams ($180 million). More than half of the projected revenues, 35.4 billion drams, will be provided by Armenia as an “inter-state loan. This is by 6.5% more than it received in 2010.
The projected budget deficit will be over 2 billion drams. About one-quarter of the projected expenditures will be channeled into social programs and another 3.8 billion drams are earmarked for or healthcare, up by 25 percent from this year’s level. -0-
