Armenia’s industrial output in Jan.-Nov. 2010 rose 9.8% year-on-year to some 734.7 billion Drams in current prices, the National Statistical Service reported.
YEREVAN, January 13. / ARKA /. Armenia’s industrial output in Jan.-Nov. 2010 rose 9.8% year-on-year to some 734.7 billion Drams in current prices, the National Statistical Service reported. Industrial sales amounted to 728.3 billion Drams, including 52.3 billion Drams sales to CIS countries and 203.2 billion Drams sales to other countries.
Mining output surged by 24% compared to the same time span of 2009 to 131 billion Drams, processing industry rose by 11.5% to 484.4 billion Drams, production and distribution of electrical power, natural gas and purified air dropped by 9.6% to 103.1 billion Drams, as water supply, sewage and waste management and recycling grew by 6.6% to 16.3 billion Drams.
