National Competitiveness Fund board of trustees approves plan of actions for 2011

The 18th sitting of the National Competitiveness Fund of Armenia Board of Trustees held in the Office of Government Saturday has approved its plan of actions for 2011, the Fund’s executive director Bekor Papazian told reporters.
YEREVAN, January 24. / ARKA /. The 18th sitting of the National Competitiveness Fund of Armenia Board of Trustees held in the Office of Government Saturday has approved its plan of actions for 2011, the Fund’s executive director Bekor Papazian told reporters.
He said the upgraded goals of the Fund will focus again on boosting tourism industry, health and education. He said also the Fund’s current expenses will be raised substantially from 1.2$ million allocated in 2010, which are being spent on project development and design. The expenses will be split equally between the government and private sector.
Raul de Luzenberger, head of the EU delegation to Armenia, was incorporated into the Board of Trustees. Andre Andonian, director-partner of McKinsey&Company (Germany) and another director-partner of McKinsey&Company (Russia and CIS) Avetik Chalabian, presented fresh proposals for upgrading research on Armenia-20-20 program. -0-
