Armenia was rated as a country with high risks to investments by British Maplecroft in its 18-th Political Risk Atlas. Armenia is included in the category of “high risk” countries.
YEREVAN, February 1, /ARKA/. Armenia was rated as a country with high risks to investments by British Maplecroft in its 18-th Political Risk Atlas. Armenia is included in the category of “high risk” countries.
The group also includes Armenia’s neighbor Azerbaijan and countries of Central Asia and Iran. Georgia and Turkey are in the group of countries with “medium risk.” Russia was rated as a country with “extreme risk.”. The US, Australia, Japan and Scandinavian countries are among the countries with “low risk.”
The annual rating embraces 211 countries. It is calculated based on several criteria like conflicts, terrorism, the rule of law, the regulatory, business environment, security of resources, human rights, climate change, development of infrastructures, education, poverty, debt service and etc. -0-
