Armenia’s total domestic trade turnover in 2011 January contracted by 64.3% from 2010 December to 100 billion Drams, the National Statistical Service reported.
YEREVAN, March 2, /ARKA/. Armenia’s total domestic trade turnover in 2011 January contracted by 64.3% from 2010 December to 100 billion Drams, the National Statistical Service reported.
Retail trade accounted for 67.9% (67.9 billion Drams) of the turnover, a 66% decline if compared to 2010 December.
Wholesale trade accounted for 27.5% or about 27.5 billion Drams and about 4.6 billion Drams were proceeds from car sales. According to the figures, 62.3% of retail trade (42.3 billion Drams) were raised by stores and 6.6 billion (9.7% of the total domestic trade) by markets. ($1 – 367.2 Drams). -0-
