YEREVAN, March 22. / ARKA /. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee said in a report today that 192 of the country’s largest corporate taxpayers reported a combined 23.3 billion Drams increase in sales proceeds in January 2011 while 225 other companies reported a total of 28.7 billion Drams decline. Overall, their sales proceeds slashed by 4.6% in January from a year earlier to 138.8 billion Drams.
These figures can be found in the State Revenue Committee’s aggregated analysis of indicators of the monitoring of largest corporate taxpayers in 2011 January. The report is posted on the agency’s official website. It said also the volume of goods and services imported by largest taxpayers in January contracted by 8.3% if compared to 2010 January to 58.4 billion Drams. More specifically, 172 companies were said to have increased their imports by 19.9 billion Drams and 80 other companies have cut imports by 24.7 billion Drams.
The volume of goods and services exported by them increased by 3.6 billion
