Ilia Garkov appointed new chief executive officer of Deno Gold Mining company

Ilia Garkov was appointed new chief executive officer of Deno Gold Mining Company, the Armenian subsidiary of a Canada-based international Dundee Precious Metals company.
YEREVAN, April 8. / ARKA /. Ilia Garkov was appointed new chief executive officer of  Deno Gold Mining Company, the Armenian subsidiary of a Canada-based international Dundee Precious Metals company.

Before this new appointment he served as Dundee Precious Metals vice president, Norayr Aghayan, Deno Gold Mining press officer, told ARKA today.

Former chief executive officer, Robert Faletta, quit in January, 2011. Aghayan said the decision on appointing Ilia Garkov was made in February, but the appointment was formalized  only in early April. He said the company hopes that the new chief executive director will succeed in implementing all projects designed for 2011. Aghayan said also Deno Gold Mining Company is set to undergo structural changes and personnel changes are also likely.

Dundee Precious Metals Inc. is a Canadian based, international mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining and processing of precious metals properties. The Company's operating interests include 100% interest in Deno Gold Mining Company CJSC , its principal asset being the Kapan mine, a gold, copper, zinc, silver concentrates producer located in southern Armenia. -0-
