President Of Armenia And Chief Of Russian President’s Administration To Participate In The First Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum In Yerevan

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Chief of Russian President’s Administration Sergey Norishkin will participate in the plenary session of the first Russian-Armenian interregional forum in Yerevan
YEREVAN, April 14. /ARKA/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Chief of Russian President’s Administration Sergey Norishkin will participate in the plenary session of the first Russian-Armenian interregional forum in Yerevan, press-service of representation of “Rossotrudnichesvo” in Yerevan informs.
The forum is organized by Rossotrudnichesvo and the development fund “Institute of Eurasian Studies” by the support of Russian President’s Administration and Armenian President’s Office which will take place from April 18-20 in sport-concert hall in Yerevan.
Plenary session of the forum will open on April 19 with participation of President Sargsyan and chief of Russian President’s administration Sergey Norishkin.
Thematic round-tables on the topic “The role of interregional relations in the development of economic-trade relations between Russian Federation and Republic of Armenia” will take place.
It is planned to sign intergovernmental and interregional agreements, import-export contracts, negotiations between regional economic entities on the opening of new enterprises. The most important is the Memorandum between “South-Caucasian Railways” (SCR) and the Government of Armenia on the start of construction of 32-kilometer section of railway Vanadzor-Fioletovo.
Co-chairmen of Russian-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation, Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan and Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin, ministers, governors, entrepreneurs and businessmen from Armenian Diaspora of Russia, experts, representatives of NGOs and mass media will participate in the session. There will be over 500 participants in the forum.
On April 18, in the frames of the forum, Russian-Armenian interregional exhibition of industrial innovations will open in the sport and concert hall named after K.Demirchyan. The first time many innovation projects and technologies of both countries will be demonstrated in the exhibition.
Among significant events will be the transfer of the first airplane “Dry Superjet-100” to the Armenian air company “Armavia” in “Zvartnots” airport, opening of the “Center of diagnostic infrastructure” of “South-Caucasian Railways” in Yerevan and reconstructed by the initiative of the Embassy of Russian Federation in Armenia Memorial to Russian soldiers killed in Oshakan battle on August 17, 1827 (near the city Echmiadzin).–0—
